Legislative Auditor James Nobles said he found no improprieties related to Attorney General Lori Swanson's office remodeling.
Swanson followed procedure when she installed heavy-duty doors to her office, Nobles said.
He said she got a private security assessment that recommended bulletproof doors. The doors she installed were also soundproof.
Nobles said Swanson has discretion to soundproof her office because she regularly discusses sensitive and confidential matters.
Nobles spoke to the Legislative Audit Commission during a hearing on Capitol security.
