SECOND ST PAUL 2ND WARD CONVENTION SET FOR JUNE 25



St. Paul 2nd Ward DFL will be holding second ward convention on Saturday, June 25th to revisit City Council endorsement. All ward boundaries in St. Paul have been redrawn so that’s why several of wards are having second endorsing conventions. If you are delegate or alternate delegate, you may be or already have gotten blue postcard in mail but it is also your credential. It also is picnic as well.It will be held on Saturday, June 25th 2011 11:00am until about 1:00PM at Parque Castillo (Castillo Park in Spanish) on the West Side unless if it is inclement weather, it will be held at Neighborhood House at Wellstone Center. ST PAUL THIRD WARD DFL CONVENTION TONIGHT 6/14/2011

Are you a political junkie and bored at home on Tuesday night or paying close attention to city council race? There will be St. Paul third ward convention tonight at Highland Park Junior High school. Saint Paul City DFL - Ward 3 Endorsing Convention


The reconvened Ward 3 Convention will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Highland Jr. High School (in the auditorium), located at Snelling and Montreal, St. Paul, MN. Credentialing begins at 6:00 p.m., the Convention starts at 7:00 p.m. The proposed rules are now available at http://www.stpauldfl.org/docs/Ward3-2011-ReconRulesAgenda.pdf.

1. Call to order by Ward Chair.

2. Flag ceremony.

3. Welcome(s).

6. Election of Convention Chair(s).

7. Rules Committee Report, Adoption of Rules and Agenda.

8. Nominations of Ward 3 City Council Candidates.

9. Ward 3 City Council Question and Answer Period.

10. Second Credentials Report. Resolution of any credentials challenges.

11. Endorsement of Ward 3 City Council.

12. Election of Ward Party Officers (may be conducted during Ward 3 vote counting without suspension of the rules):

a. Two Co-chairs (must be gender balanced).

c. Affirmative Action Officer.

ST. PAUL ELECTION NIGHT PARTY UPDATE

I am at St. Paul Hotel for Saint Paul DFL and Mayor Chris Coleman's Election Night party ataint Paul Hotel in Downtown St. Paul. People arrived around 7:30PM.

Mood are very festive among people. House Speaker Margret Anderson Kelliher and some Saint Paul School Board Members such as Ann Carroll and Elona Stewart-Street are here.

As of 8:30PM more people arrive.

I will be live-tweeting what is going on at the party. I also will have pictures posted on Twitpic as well.
